Ana Kristina Gasteyer is an American performer and actress. Most notable is her role as a participant on the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live from 1996 until 2002. From 1996 to 2002, Gasteyer starred in the ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and film Mean Girls. Gasteyer's professional career started at Northwestern University. She originally was enrolled as a vocal major but moved to theater when she became involved with the campus comedy club. The spirit of the group has been carried in her various parts in supporting roles like the incredibly controllable Sheila Shay (agent), in Lady Dynamite, and the eccentric Karen Grisham.
