Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name on television. De La Garza's parents were from Ireland and Mexico. She was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December in 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas in search of her career in physical therapy within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas then moved back to Orlando Florida where she experienced numerous acting roles such as local independent films as well as world-wide commercials. It was there that she discovered her passion to perform despite her small role. In 2001, she emigrated from the Midwest to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's morning soap-opera as Rosa Santos. She had minor roles on JAG: Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men in the mid 2000s. In 2004, she was offered her first series-wide role on the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside some of the top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi as well as Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable character was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was in 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. The particular character garnered De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even a few ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on an upcoming drama series. De La Garza was then selected as a role on CSI Miami. She was cast as Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was in NBC's more dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano's show was pulled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano is Italian and is the youngest of two sisters Cory. She was brought up in a conservative, religious family. Milano began her acting career at the age of seven old. Her babysitter brought her along for an audition. From more than 1,000 candidates the actress was selected among only four. Milano played in television commercials as well as off Broadway shows, including the very first American musical rendition of Jane Eyre.
